Numbers have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I was young, I watched my mom balance the family checkbook at the kitchen counter each month. One day I asked what she was doing, and from that moment on, I was hooked. I opened my first checking account at 16 and have balanced it faithfully ever since.
After high school, I worked for 8 years at Dime Savings Bank until the bank was bought out and layoffs followed. Although leaving was heartbreaking, my love for working with numbers never left me. Over the years, life led me through several number-focused roles while raising my family, and now I’m excited to return to that passion by building my own bookkeeping business.
